First, make sure that you read the label on the flea medicine before you start putting it on your pet.
Medicines such as Frontline Plus should be put onto your dog or cat’s skin in a single area. For flea medicine like K9 Advantix and Advantage, you can put the medicine onto 3-4 spots on your dog or cat’s back.
Get into the habit of putting the medicine onto your pet at the same time each month.
Skin care advice:
- Give your pet some Omega 3 Fatty Acid for better skin!
- Omega 3 contributes greatly to better skin, and better organ function.
- Wait at least a day before giving your pet a bath after applying medicine.
- Use ONLY dog or cat shampoo, as shampoo for humans can really irritate their sensitive skin.
